10.1 General Rules
Rule 212, California Rules of Court governs the conduct of pre-trial conferences. (eff. 6/30/91)
10.2 Additional Duties of Attorney Requesting Pre-trial Conference
In addition to the duties imposed upon counsel by rule 212 California Rules of Court, it shall be the duty of the attorney who has requested the pre-trial conference to present to the judge, at the pre-trial conference, a proposed pre-trial conference order which will have been prepared in accordance with the requireiments of rule 212 California Rules of Court, and will have been drafted, so far as possible, in such a form as to be reasonably acceptable to all counsel as a stipulated pre-trial conference order. Any conference among counsel which may be required in preparation for the proposed pretrial conference order shall be arrancged in advance of the pre-trial conference by counsel who has requested the pre-trial conference. 10.3 Additional Duties of Attorney Requesting Jury Trial Involving Special Verdicts or Findings
At the pre-trial conference, the attorney for each party who has requested a jury trial in a case where the right thereto is not guaranteed by law or in a case in which special verdicts or findings of the jury will be required, shall have complied with rule 377, California Rules of Court, and shall present the form of any special verdicts or interrogatories which will be required fror the resolution of the case by the jury.
